*Still, Whitney Houston is making news in one way or another.
In the latest instance, the late singer’s former sister-in-law, Monique Houston, told Dr. Drew that she was pretty much disgusted by the Oprah interview with Bobbi Kristina.

“The whole interview was a little disturbing. It was a little soon to expose Bobbi Kristina to the media. I’ve lost my mother — and losing your mother is a huge trauma — and I really think she needs time to heal.”
About her own personal life, she got into a little detail about why she left her former husband, Gary Houston.
She explained drug abuse was a huge issue in their marriage.
“Not necessarily because he was a drug addict, but once things were spinning too far out of control, I had to make the decision to separate myself from the situation.”

Now, Why is this lady going on TV talking about Whitney and Bobbi K and the family??? I am sure Patricia Houston decided on the interview with Oprah and maybe she cleard ti with Bobbi K and Cissy and then maybe not. If it was too soon then pat Hosuton should of said No to Oprah. I think all family and friends NEED to stop talking to the media?tabs?TV people etc.
Everybody is coming out the woodworks trying to get their 15 minutes of fame off of Whitney Houston’s death. Bobbi Kristina is old enough to make her own decisions. If she thought it was too soon, she would have said so! She’s not 5 years old. And where were all these people when Whitney needed love, support and help?? I swear…PEOPLE!
I think money was a HUGE factor for the Bobby K and Pat Houston interview. I actually agree with this lady. You could clearly tell BK was numbed up and Pat was just cashing in…JMO
I think the interview was at the perfect time, with the right person to do it. If Bobbi Kristina tried to stay low, 6 months from now she would be hounded for an interview and they would bring up everything she had done since Whitney’s death. Now, no one in the Houston family needs to be interviewed ever again unless they want to. Over and done with.
I agree! If she would have waited 6 months to do an interview, she would have been in the mist of her healing process and re-hashing what happened the day her mom died would bring up emotions that she had time to come to terms with. Waiting would have been a big mistake. And BK and Pat do not need money! Whitney’s estate is generating a lot of money.
I agree as well. I think those in MSM are upset Oprah garnered the interview and handled it well.

And they still on this death by addiction tip. The interview also seemed scripted, like the questions and how she would answer them were predetermined.
And who is this damn Dr. Drew?!
Man, CNN must have fallen on hard times.
So look for them to round up more people who were kicked to the curb from the Houston household and their families, then get them to negatively critique the interview.
You know whose family they going after next.
I saw the entire show. She has not been in that family for 20+ years. We all knew Gary had a drug problem and she knew nothing about Whitney’s drug problem. She saw Gary & Pat in that big beautiful house with their child playing piano and got mad ( maybe rightfully so), but it really had nothing to do with Whitney. She had no first hand knowledge of her drug abuse. Dr. Drew is now scraping the bottom of the barrel. On the after show she talked about issues of child support with Gary and I find it tacky to use Whitney’s death to talk about martial issues with your ex. Take his ass to court and call it a day.
Everybody’s coming out of the woodwork to capitalize off Whitney’s death. This is a very bad look for her. Why is she discussing Gary’s drug issues? This is sickening.
It’s so apparent that individuals are coming out of the wood works to capitalize on the issues. And, all of a sudden Bobbi Kristina has been in the media doing interviews, using her mother’s name in her advantage.

“So did you actually spit in Whitney’s face in front of your daughter?”
“No, no, I would never do something like that.”
“So are you saying then that Whitney is lying? she also said that Bobbi Kristina was very upset about it. Could they both then be lying?”
How is she “Ms. Houston”. Gary’s last name is Garland. I know Whitney would introduce in her shows as “my brother Gary Houston. However, he’s her stepbrother and was know as Gary Garland at DePaul University in Chicago where he played basketball. It is also the name he use in the NBA. He is the son of Cissy from a previous marriage, he wasn’t an adopted child his father’s name was “Garland”.
