*Recently a source claims that Jermaine Jackson had a year-long love affair with Whitney Houston, while married to his wife, according to UK’s Daily Mail.
According to the insider, the 1985 hit, “Saving All My Love For You” was supposedly inspired by their relationship. The song tells the story of a woman’s romantic love for a married man.
A Jermaine look alike was even hired for the music video.
So the source says Jackson was absolutely devastated by the singer’s death due to their history with one another.
“No one understood the scale of his grief because they didn’t know what they shared,” the source told a newspaper.
They supposedly got involved in 1984, shortly after Jackson married Hazel Gordy.
Jackson actually highlighted their friendship in the book he released last year, but didn’t speak of any affair. However, he did mention that he struggled with his feelings for the singer while married to Gordy.
The source added:
“The reason it ended was because Jermaine wouldn’t leave his wife – and Whitney was angry. The video for ‘Saving All My Love For You’ was about all of that.”
