*“Star Trek” fans have something to look forward to with part two. But star Zoe Saldana, like director J.J. Abrams, isn’t too happy with the recent photo leaks.
“It’s such a bummer,” she told MTV News about pics showing her, Benedict Cumberbatch and Zachary Quinto on the set of “Star Trek 2.”
The images depict the heroes facing off against Cumberbatch, the new villain. They aren’t spoiler photos, but those working on the film are pretty sensitive about the production.
“J.J. was very upset,” Saldana said. “I have to say that. It’s not going to stop people from intruding, but they are, and it’s such a bummer because it only hurts them by stealing away the surprise.”
But it could be to the film’s advantage since fans have rallied around the excitement of having Cumberbatch included in the film. But no details have been released about his character.
“Star Trek 2″ also stars Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Karl Urban, John Cho and Alice Eve. It’s due in theaters May 17, 20
