Janet Jackson Reveals Her Weight Loss Secrets

   

janet before and after*Throughout her career, Janet Jackson has struggled with maintaining her sexy fit body.

Just six years ago, the super star performer weighed 180 pounds, but she only stands at 5-feet-4-inches. The singer credits her weight loss to believe it or not, Nutrisystem, which she started in late 2011.

“People can relate to me because I have lived it. I truly understand what it’s like to have a problem with weight loss, losing too much weight or gaining more than you desire,” Jackson, 45, tells Us Weekly. “It’s about keeping it off. We can all lose weight, but learning how to keep it off — maintaining it — is what’s difficult. Nutrisystem teaches you how to do that.”

Now that she is in great shape, Jackson says she’s enjoying life and enjoying her food. With her new regimen, she’s allowed to eat some great snacks, including cookies, cakes and brownies.

“You don’t have to deprive yourself of things that you love, and that’s what’s so great about Nutrisystem,” she explains. “I eat the some of these things and you think to yourself, ‘Oh, I shouldn’t be having this!’ because it’s so good!”

But food isn’t the only thing she pays attention to. In order to look fit, she has to get fit. Jackson works out regularly with trainer Tony Martinez.

    Janet publicly stated that she does not like to exercise. People who struggle with weight issues and don’t like being active, WILL NEVER KEEP THE POUNDS OFF!
