*Omar Epps is getting busy again this year as he adds screenwriter and producer to his list of accomplishments.
The actor wrote a romantic comedy, “Between Us,” is about two great friends who can’t seem to find the right one.
The project will be produced by Tracey Edmonds and financed by Young Money/Cash Money Records CEOs Bryan “Baby” Williams and Ronald “Slim Williams.
Also in the making, Kimberly Elise is doing something new with VH1. She’s starring in a new drama pilot, “Bounce.” The show is about a team of professional basketball dancers. If the show is a hit, it’ll be VH1’s second scripted series, after “Single Ladies.”
