Oprah Winfrey leaves CBS Studios in New York City. (April 2, 2012)
*During lunch earlier this week at a posh Beverly Hills restaurant, Oprah Winfrey foot the bill for a homeless man to have a lavish lunch.
The TV mogul was in a creative meeting with executives from her OWN network on the Scarpetta eaterie’s patio, and enjoyed a five-course meal while she listened to her employees pitch ideas.
According to the New York Post, a man walked up and asked for a bowl of soup. O responded by giving him a wad of cash and ordering him a feast of food from the restaurant.
A source says Oprah was heard saying, “Please, can we get him some money, get him a meal.”
When the man told the star his name was Eddie, she reportedly replied, “God bless you, Eddie.”
Apparently he caught her on a good day because I’m pretty sure she doesn’t do that for every homeless person she runs into. Man, I hope he uses or used the money wisely…
I am moved by stupidity. Someone is generous and you find the need to question the sincerity behind it.
How can you be so sure MrUnapologetic69 ? That was so an Oprah move. Her track record should speak for itself. Look at what she is doing in Africa? When will she do enough for a positive comment?

That was a very nice gesture from Lady O and she carries around a wad of money all the time. must be nice!!!
Oprah Winfrey, I think is really a good person, I will never forget when Oprah was on the regular network, she did not have the OWN station yet, Oprah came out in the beginning of the show, A lady was describing a pair of boots that Oprah had worn on a previous show, and she was telling Oprah how much she loved those boots, Oprah told her staff on TV to find those boots and give them to the lady. Oprah has done a lot of good for people, some publicize some not,but deep down inside I think Oprah is a very giving and God fearing person, I think she is great.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As always, Lady O is gratuitous to all.This was awesome to hear this morning. Someone doing something good for another human being!
