Yes, Studdard’s a single man and he gets to take all his royalties with him, thanks to a prenuptial agreement.

He and his now former wife, Surata Zuri McCants, separated due to irreconcilable differences. During the dirty divorce, reports TMZ, McCants tried to convince the judge to nullify the prenup, claiming the singer forced her to sign the documents days before the wedding.
The judge didn’t care and moved on with the divorce. In fact, he wasn’t ordered to make any kind of payments and won’t have to worry about alimony. He gets to keep the house, his belongings, and any other income and possessions he’s earned.
His ex … well, she gets to keep her wedding dress, her photo albums, a 2006 BMW and a $10,000 property settlement, oh and a nice bill from the attorney.

But the fact that she hired a lawyer, with the intention for the judge to forgo the pre-nup, is evidence that we are still not there yet.

The woman came to the table with virtually nothing. Apparently she did not contribute a substantial amount of anything before and during the relationship. So how in the hell is this woman entitled to what Ruben may have acquired before the marriage? She agreed to marry Ruben as is, and had taken acceptance to the prenup in the beginning. So their relationship no longer worked out. They had no children together. Then she goes and get a lawyer to challenge prenup after the fact, looking for money on the way out dumb bitch, laugh online.
