*Did you watch 60s/70s has-been star Ryan O’Neal’s reality show on OWN? We didn’t think so. In fact, O’Neal believes even Oprah didn’t watch it either, reports TMZ.
The 70-year-old actor — who starred with his famous daughter on “Ryan and Tatum: The O’Neals” — was out in L.A. yesterday when we asked how he felt about O’s admission that she wasn’t ready to launch her network.
O’Neal replied, “I wish we would had known that. She should have told us.”
When we asked if he was worried that the extremely low-rated reality show would tarnish his reputation …. he simply shot back: “No, because nobody saw it. I don’t know if Oprah saw it.”
Hmm, chances are pretty strong he won’t be coming back for a second season.
Waht in hte heck is he having a” tude ” about anyway he should be glad that OWN gave him hte chance ota have that crappy show in hte first place. seeing that none of the other networks was breaking his door down to offer his has been azz a reality show. Oprah did not owe him an explantion seeing that no one watched his show to begin with. Have a seat Ryan!!!

What!?! He has the audacity to get salty. He should be lucky that somebody took a risk putting his molestin self on any network. Also, this should teach Oprah a lesson to start betting on Black.

He makes a great point. Why ask me to do a show if you aren’t ready to dedicate yourself to help launch the station. He didn’t sound angry, just disappointed.

I think a lot of people are elated Owns getting low ratings! But that Ryan show , really , total BS , no good period! She has done so much with A graceful heart, I hate to see a ungrateful has been show such a lack of appreciation ! Find positivity , like SWEETIE. PIES ! God Bless you Oprah
Really, who is Ryan O’neal?
He may not have chosen the best words in responding to all their queries, but it’s not like he was going off on Oprah. He actually was supporting her and showed that he understand how difficult it is to launch a network.
I hope Oprah doesn’t fall for this ambush journalism and end up taking unnecessary punitive measures. But at the same time, if it can’t deliver on the ratings, then that’s something else. Oprah may need to start keeping up with the time. Even if she insists on casting white people, realty shows have to have some kind of an edge you want folks to watch.
A lot of shows that were cancelled, and I’m not talking about reality shows, were really good shows so maybe Oprah should have pick them up on her network. These shows picked up dedicated fans that hated to see them go off the air.
