*With “Think Like a Man” currently No. 1 hit at the box office, the film’s source material, Steve Harvey’s advice book “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man,” just saw its paperback version rise to No. 40 on USA TODAY’s Best-Selling Books list.
“The movie is selling books because we all want to believe there are magic formulas that will ensure the fairy-tale ending,” says Dawn Davis, Harvey’s editor at Amistad. “And while Steve doesn’t offer that, you do get to see a big-screen version of how things might play out if you follow his advice, such as the 90-day rule.”
The hardcover reached No. 1 on March 12, 2009. The paperback was released Jan. 31 as a movie tie-in.
As previously reported, “Think Like a Man” bumped “Hunger Games” out of the No. 1 spot at the box office last weekend. The film took in $33 million, more than twice what was expected by industry analysts.

Hunger Games has been out for four weeks and has made 336 mil though.
