Video: Sherri Shepherd Voted Out of ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Sherri Shepherd's tango of doom on "DWTS" (April 9, 2012)

*Sherri Shepherd got emotional last night when she learned that her short-lived-yet-Cinderella run on “Dancing With the Stars” had come to an end.

“The View” co-host teared up when her name was called among the lowest scorers.  She said dancing on the show was a dream, and she urged viewers to tackle their fears the way she did “because it’s so amazing on the other side.”

Judges’ scores are combined with viewer votes to determine who is ousted each week.

Returning to compete on next week’s Latin-themed episode will be actors Jaleel White, Roshon Fegan, William Levy and Melissa Gilbert; singers Gladys Knight, Gavin DeGraw and Katherine Jenkins; TV personality Maria Menounos; and football star Donald Driver.

Oh well! Sherri you did the best you could on Monday but someone had to leave, this is the best season yet all of the contestants are quite good. I am pulling for Donald, Gladys, Katharine, William Levy and Jaleel either of these can win.

  2. As she said, dancers stay because of their fans she has very few. We saw this coming. Her idiotic views expressed on the View has come back to haunt her. Po thang!

Just………. nasty. You do not know how many fans she has. What is actually obvious is that her fans did not vote last night…..either because they do not watch the show or some other reason.

On the other hand, what a very inspirational speech she gave and everyone should hear the whole. I agree, when you try something inspite of fear, when done, the feeling is utterly amazing! Congrats Sherry for experiencing your dream and facing your fears!

Same here – I don’t watch the show any more in a few years now……..

What a disgrace. Every time I look at Sherri Shepherd, I think about how she embraces the “N” word.
