Whitney Houston’s Autopsy Report Devastates Mother Cissy

cissy houston*More bad news for poor Cissy Houston.

Now that Whitney’s autopsy report is out, her mother, and the world, for that matter, is facing the hard truth about the singer’s drug habit.

Whitney’s mother is said to be “devastated” and “inconsolable” over the L.A. County Coroner’s Autopsy Report that makes it clear … Whitney was deep into cocaine when she died, says TMZ.

Cissy Houston is telling close friends … she cried hysterically when she first heard about the Coroner’s findings — that white powder (which we know tested positive for cocaine), a drug spoon and other trappings of drug use were found in the hotel room.

Cissy says her biggest fear is that people will now remember her daughter as a druggie, and not a talented singer and family woman.

Cissy singled out Whitney’s performance of the National Anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl, saying, “This is the type of thing people should remember Whitney for.”

Cissy added, “No one’s perfect. Only the Lord can judge.”

I was never a fan of Whitney’s but I did like some of her music. It would be unfair for people to only remember Houston for being a drug addict. She deserves more than that. Her personal vices have nothing to do with her talent. Besides, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, etc. all have/had drug addictions but that didn’t take away from their accomplishments. Whitney deserves the same respect!

Although, her vices did hurt her, she accomplished alot in her 48 years than most do in a lifetime. Her mother should be proud but I know she has to be torn up to know that there was nothing she could do to stop her daughter from self-destructing.

    • I was about to say the samething. I wasn’t a HUGE fan of Whitney’s but I thought she had a beautiful voice. And if Elvis can still be revered as one of the best in rock and roll and his drug addiction be ignored, the samething can happen for Whitney and Michael Jackson.

I’m sorry 2 say this but WhItney will never get the same respect as Elvis P. Because she’s not white she was a beautiful woman grew up in the church God, gave her that gift of singing 4 his glory…. The devil come 2 steal kill and destroy everything that’s God’s blesses us with… The devil wants 2 take away. my prayer is that her daughter doesn’t follow in her footstep and her father. This is why her mother was fighting so hard 4 her recovery she didn’t want her daughter 2 b loss.

I will always remember Whitney for her beautiful voice. It’s no secret she had her demons, we all have our demons. But she had the voice of an angel. Everytime I hear one of her songs I think, wow what a gifted voice she was blessed with. She a legend and an icon. She accomplished alot in her life. And for this never be forgotten.

I was a huge Whitney an I have all of her CD’s a one of a kind voice that none of today’s so called singers can even touch. I feel for Cissy and I hope the media is now finsihed hashing over the details of her autopsy report. Enough is enough. I will always remember Whitney ofr her effortless talent which was her golden voice.

  4. i loved whitney houston ever since the day she debuted in 1985, the year i graduated high school and when she made a guest appearance on “Gimme A Break”, with Nell Carter. Her voice, her beauty and her personality and character outshines her problem with drugs that it’s understandable that if she WAS in her final days, is no more than so many other celebrities, in fact, some have come forward and said that they would offer trays of cocaine at these parties for celebrities, so she in my book, is still and always will be as Aretha Franklin put it, “One of the greatest singers that ever stood before a microphone”, I just hope that somehow, God received her and all will be well with her in the afterlife. Her passing made me realize the good times in this world as it was from the 1980s and back to the 1970s, 60s and before is temporary and running out, just look at Michael Jackson, Don Cornelius and so many others We really need to be prepared for the hereafter, whatever that may be for each and everyone of us.

Cissy, if you are devasted by these findings then you apparently didn’t know your own child.

What’s worse is that despite how they’re “cleaning up” this report, she died because she had crack in her system. That is unless people snort cocaine from a spoon.

    • DawnDuhDuh says:

Mush that’s a bit harsh…I’m sure she new her own child, Whit just kept her in the dark about a few things. My parents know me..but they don’t know everything…like the wild sex I had last weekend. lol

You really need to shut the phuck up with that foolywang and worry about your Mother knowing who you are!

@Musb, I think Cissy knew Whitney very well. Every mother knows their child. I think it is more of her feeling disappointed more so and a small guilt of feeling like she did something wrong for her child to have taken the road she did. Cissy would hate to admit publicly that she knew her daughter had relapsed awhile ago and just was hoping the issue would not surfaced.

I say “ditto” to all of the earlier posts – however, I feel Whitney destroyed her career when she did the infamous: Diane Sawyer interview, when Garth Brooks mentioned how emaciated she looked for the Michael Jackson Honors Tribute and that awful “Being Bobby Brown” debacle of a reality series!!! These three factors really gave the public all access into her once pristine world. I truly do think she should be remembered for her contributions to the world of music, fashion and giving to others in the industry. When all is said and done – only the Good Lord can judge her. RIP, Nippy, I love your character and the music you left us, always. Hope you and Mike, Barry, Eartha, Luther, Nick Ashford, and Sammy Davis are all getting your dancing and music on!!!

I completely agree with Cissy about “The National Anthem.” IMO, her recording of it should be what is always played before a game. I think it is the best rendition EVER made.

I was not a rabid Whitney Houston fan, but she did have a few songs I liked. I absolutely ADORED her as an actress. I am saddened that she won’t be around to make any more movies. She was a beautiful woman.

  9. I will not remember Whitney by the fact that she was a druggie but I will remember her for being the singer that she was. No one held a gun to Whitney’s head and demanded that she take drugs, she did that to herself. Sad that the report came out to reveal this, but I am not surprised.

  10. butterpecanrican says:

Only the lord can judge but that doesn’t mean you turn a blind eye. Whitney had a drug problem and it was pretty evident but that doesn’t mean that she should not primarily be remembered for her God given talent.

Musb, I agree with you, I sure hope that Cissy didn’t thnk they’d find sweet tea and cookies in her system . . .I think seeing it in black&white was the too much truth. I wasn’t a card carrying fan but, I, like millions of others know, the true and pure beauty of of her voice. And I thank her for that. Her addictions will not be lost on me and hopefully many others but, it will not be what I remember her for first. I’m just sorry that she wasn’t able to squelch or control her habits and that her demons won . . .

I loved Whitney Houston for the joy she gave so many with her music & movies. God gave her a talent that she shared with the world. Some of the best times of my life included her music palying in the background. None of us are guaranteed to be free from an addiction, whatever it may be and no one should judge the person she was or the heartache she may have had that none of us knew about. I’m a 54 year old white woman that believes she deserves to be remembered for the joy she brought her fans and I also believe she’s the most awesome singer/entertainer Black or White that I’ve ever heard or seen. She was a gorgeous woman and I know she’s in the arms of God. I don’t believe God turns His back on you because you have struggles. Whitney, God Bless You, your Mother, Bobbi Kristina and the rest of your family..Thank you for all that you gave..
