*Anti-fan protests against VH1’s “Basketball Wives” are finally making headway with their campaigns.
Summer’s Eve, a feminine products brand, will no longer advertise on the program, the protest campaigners proudly claim on Change.org. Before the week is out, a second sponsor could ditch the reality show as well.
But the refusal to sponsor also includes Evelyn Lozada’s “Ev & Ocho.”
“Basketball Wives” is also losing support from fans who claim to be worn out by the constant cat fighting and negative portrayal of black women.
Ratings have dropped from 2 million viewers a few weeks ago to 1.75 million last week. That’s a 12.5 percent drop.
It’s nice to know they can take the time to pose for a picture– smiles and all– before resorting to name calling and bottle throwing.
Watched the show and did not like the bullying and stabbing in the back. No interst in seeing the movie.
Yes, I’m glad to have signed the petition. People said signing wouldnt change a thing but they are wrong. People are tired of the buffonery. The only people who truly take these show seriously are hoodrats and hoes in training.

I have never watched real anything or basketball anything and never will. Would actually love to hear that all of that stuff has gone bye bye.
What about pulling advertisements for Bad Girls Club, Single Ladies, and other ignorant shows too? Jerry Springer? Maury? The list goes on and on.
Um, hold up Ms, I actually like Single Ladies, the acting is not so great, but I think they have a pretty good plot. Can’t wait for the new season to start.
