In the Midst of Tragedy, Cissy Houston Releases New Music

*Grammy Award winning gospel recording artist and mother of Whitney Houston, Cissy Houston released “Walk On By Faith,” a four track EP.

Houston’s career began at the age of five, when she toured the country with her family’s gospel group, the Drinkard Singers.

Now in her early 60s, the legendary gospel singer is still singing the word.

Under the direction of Harlem Records, Houston’s latest music is an inspirational and healing work.

“I wanted to capture the authentic, unique sound of one of the greatest singers of all time,” said Harlem Records founder Vy Higginsen. “Cissy’s voice and lyrics have the power to heal and touch all people. I am renewed and inspired by Cissy’s courage and faith, and find comfort in her message.”
