*Deion Sanders continues to defend himself against assault allegations made by his estranged wife Pilar in their tabloid-worthy divorce, telling “Good Morning America” today that he “never touched” his wife.
“This has been going on for quite some time,” he told co-host Robin Roberts. “Unfortunately the court [wonders how] two people that are separated and going through a divorce could be in the same house, I don’t understand how that would work because it’s a very volatile situation. But I’ve kept my peace. I’ve honored my children. I can respectfully say my kids have never seen me yell, scream, hate on, call a name or provoke my soon-to-be ex-wife.”
As previously reported, Pilar was arrested on April 23 and booked at the Collin County Jail outside of Dallas on allegations that she and someone else assaulted Deion in front of their two children. Deion live-tweeted the incident, saying his two boys “witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room. She’s going to jail and I’m pressing charges!”

For some reason…I believe Deion. I feel that Pilar is trying to conjure up a case, b/c she has no money, she signed a prenup (probably only trying to prove to him that she really loved him) and now that he wants a divorce, she sees that she gets absolutely NOTHING, and is now bitter about it, and trying to scrape for anything. I say for what it’s worth, She had 2 kids by Deion and raised them, they look like nice kids….he should give her a little something

Robin did mention Pilar couldn’t speak because of the gag order and seemed kinda skeptical of Deion. Kids go where the money is and I believe they’re being manipulated in a way.

Like dude, that’s her kids. I mean, I know you want to get custody, and one of the easiest ways to deprive a woman of her kids is show that she poses a danger to them. I was just reading and interview from the Sanders children piano teacher on, Ballerwives.com that she’s was there in the house with them giving one of there children a lesson. she’s says the police treated Deion nicely, and treated Pilar harshly won’t even that her statement. She came 4 ward because, Deion LIE……. And the police was dead wrong. How they’ve treated Pilar and arrested her. I’ll liked 2 know where, Bishop T.D. Jakes, since that’s there pastor? They’ve need some serious guidance.

She said at the time there was only one child in the home, the couple’s oldest son. She said he got scared.
“He kept saying, ‘Please don’t stay. I don’t want you to hear this,’” Thomas said.
Thomas said she made her way out of the house, and as she was leaving the police arrived.
She describes them as being aggressive with Pilar.
“That’s what I found strange,” Thomas said. “They hadn’t even interviewed them, and they were pushing her out like she was some criminal, and they said, ‘You stay outside,’ and just said, ‘Do not come back in this house.’”
She said Deion Sanders was treated nicely.
Thomas said she was stunned to learn Pilar Sanders was arrested.
“I was flabbergasted,” she said. “This can not be right. It’s not right. It’s so wrong. Now way she deserved to go to jail.”
She said Prosper police officers didn’t take her statement. In fact, she says she called them the next day to give her account.

I told y’all. Deion is kind of slow. He’s going to end up committing perjury and possibly charged with assault and battery on Pilar. For one, he lied about both kids witnessing it when it appears that one of them only heard it. From the description, I think those boys are scared to death of Deion. He could get a visit from CPS. With a good lawyer, Pilar should get custody

Where would she get one? what these men with power and money like Deion is they start contacting lawyers and once the attorney has had contact with him he can’t tlk to her about representing her so she ends up with a putz who don’t know anything about family law and they end up getting screwed they lose their kids and rights and can’t even pay their attorneys fees although she can ask for him to pay them This is so messy

And this is just after the Trayvon Martin case when Zimmerman’s account of being being battered by a much smaller sized boy was ripped to shreds. Another thing that you may want to take from the Trayvon Martin case, is that just because the police says so, doesn’t mean that it is true. Police choose whose side they want to take, and in the case of Zimmerman, they choose the wrong side. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that the same thing appears to be happening here.
But I guess your next argument is going to be why they ended up charging Deion with simple assault.

Based on the previous article (EUR) I just read, the only person claiming that Deion was “beaten” by Pilar was you. There hasn’t been anyone here nor the media nor Deion himself who suggested this “abuse” but you. In fact, your entire argument is based on the notion that a former NFL star couldn’t have POSSIBLY felt that threatened by lil ol’ Pilar to warrant the police being called and her subsequent arrest.
So while you were arguing with yourself over that, the rest of us had sense enough to reason that a man SHOULD call the police if he sense the situation w/a woman is getting out of control. We (not you of course) do this to protect OURSELVES..something you don’t believe men should be “men” enough to do.

There’s a huge difference between an “implication” and a “statement of fact.” You’re the only person I know pushing the notion that a man should never feel forced to call the cops. At first, I thought it was just to cast Pilar in a negative light to help him win custody. But it actually was something more serious. He actually was trying to avoid jail time for whupping her ass.

Wednesday morning, Dee Boswell, a family friend who was at the scene at the time of the incident and was charged with a Class C assault, shared her side of the story, in which she said she witnessed Deion attack Pilar, striking her over the head with a statue. She alleged he then turned on her after realizing she was recording the altercation on her camera phone.
Boswell was Pilar’s friend referenced by the former Cowboys player in his tweet. She said she was at the house helping clean out their daughter’s room when she said she heard some “muffled yells” and then heard Pilar scream.
“Not scream like, ‘Hey, how are you?’” she said. “Scream like, ‘Somebody help me.”
That’s when she said she broke out her camera phone to record the incident on video.
“I was able to catch Deion striking Pilar in the head with a statue,” Boswell said.
Pilar was allegedly crouching down with her hands over her head when the statue came down on her, breaking her thumb. Boswell also said Pilar’s lip was split during the altercation.
Boswell said Deion then discovered she was recording the incident and turned on her.
“He threw Pilar to the floor and came after me,” she said.
Deion allegedly broke the phone, slamming it to the ground, said Toby Shook, Boswell’s attorney, who also joined News 8 Daybreak during the interview. He said police took the memory card of the phone to investigate the allegations.
“I’m sure they’ll send it to a forensics’s lab to see if they can recover the images,” he said.
Boswell admitted she did not witness what led up to the altercation between the Sanders. However, she said she was shocked when Prosper police arrived on the scene, taking Pilar into custody.
“Wow, seriously?” she said she thought at the time. “You have a woman who has blood all over her face and hand; her lip is obviously split; she’s got a horrendous injury on her thumb, and they treated me and her like we were criminals.”
