*Jesse Williams is in talks to join “The Butler,” Lee Daniels’ historical drama that traces the 20th century through the eyes of a black employee at the White House.

The film is based on the life of Eugene Allen, who started work at the White House in 1952 and served eight First Families.

Williams, a regular on “Grey’s Anatomy,” was most recently seen on the big screen in “Cabin In The Woods.”

Acccording to Deadline.com, IM Global will bring “The Butler” to foreign buyers at the Cannes Film Festival next week.
