John Legend Defends Chrissy Teigen in Chris Brown Drama

*John Legend is defending his fiancée Chrissy Teigen after she was pummeled with Twitter threats for dissing Chris Brown’s lip synced performance Sunday at the Billboard Music Awards.

The model came under fire from #Team Breezy after she tweeted, “Why sing when you can dance.” For days to follow, Chrissy retweeted and entertained malicious comments, until she finally shot back in her own Twitter rant: “…I like some of his music too. YOU can like it. You CAN. But WHY the insane hate and ‘team’? Why can’t you just CHILL THE F*** OUT.”

She added, “You can even form these sentences at someone you don’t even know makes me so sad.”

Chrissy was most shocked at the harsh tweets from females. “John has gotten numerous comments about him needing to ‘leash me’ or ‘control’ me. FROM WOMEN. Please stop this. It’s so sad,” she tweeted. “What are you even doing this for? Some good music and dancing? Good god. DO BETTER. Ennnnnd.”

John avoided the drama until Chris Brown tweeted to his fans, “Team Breezy! Lets stop sending death threats! I know ya’ll bout that life but it’s the wrong message! Ur turning haters into victims! And that only furthers their pointless existence.”

John defended his fiancée writing on his own account. “Personally, I don’t think @chrissyteigen’s existence is pointless. Not anyone else who dares criticize a performance,” he tweeted. “Every artist has to be ok with the fact that some people won’t like their work. All critics aren’t haters.”

The piano-playing crooner continued, “And don’t ever tell me to put my ‘bitch on a leash.’ She’s a grown woman with her own mind and her own opinions and this is not 1950.”

John you sound just as dumb as your ignorant fiancee who was “surprised” that people didn’t like her tweets. Now she’s asking people to be respectful of her opinion. Well, there opinion is that you shoulda STFU.

And taking up for your girl who landed herself in her own shyt doesn’t make you look chilvarous.

  2. Gayle K says:

John needs to be careful, that fiancé has always been mouthy and she better be careful or else he’s next to get attacked. He didn’t handle it well when he read comments about his hairline and he responded via twitter by saying people were jealous of his success before he took it down.

  3. Diva007 says:

Ughhh! He is such an arrogant punk!! Grow up John, we know this isn’t the 1950. If she came handle criticism herself then she needs to shut the bell up. She was in the wrong. However, she is in no place to even make comments about anyone. Nobody asked her about her raggedy opinion.

  4. If she can’t take criticism, then she don’t need to criticize. I bet next time she will keep her mouth shut. He is a another T.O. with that thang. If he didn’t have money she wouldn’t be there.

  5. babycakes says:

Well, I see how tweeting gets most people/celebs into trouble taht is why I do not bother with it.

john legend is a great singer not like mr fagetron brown who doesnt know how to sing for shett if he doesnt want ppl to criticised his music if you can call that music than he should quit singing and start dancing like a backup dancer i think that would work for him better!!!

    • chris brown aint a fagget. retard, he CAN sing & he can dance. so swerve witcho lil ass, cahs you don’t know whatchu talkin bout. he’s fucking talented, fuck you and yo bullshit.

  7. WittierResponse says:

“Why sing when you can dance?” Yeah, Chrissy because we all know how much talent it takes to be eye candy and John Legend’s future ex-trophy wife…

  8. Never cared for John Legend couldn’t figure out what the big deal was. He may write good songs and can play instruments but he can’t sing and if it hadn’t been for Oprah he would be just ordinary like his song says.
