*Mariah Carey’s older, troubled sister, Allison, is begging the singer to reunite with her and bring the family back together again.
Yes she has a sister. Last year, word got out that Allison was an adult escort, charging clientele $250 an hour for “house calls and erotic body rubs.” She had also been homeless, addicted to drugs, and had been diagnosed with HIV. Mariah’s polar opposite claimed that her sister was ignoring her.
The sisters had not spoken since 1994 over a fall out regarding the custody of Allison’s child. Mariah, and their mother Patricia, fought to gain custody of her seven-year-old son Michael, claiming he was at risk in her care.
Now the estranged sister wants to establish a better relationship with Mariah. She says she’s clean and has been sober for four months. She’s even taken up a job as a housekeeper.
She told the Sun, “I want to reach out to my sister and tell her how much I miss her and how proud I am that we are family. We may be apart now, and it has been many years since we last spoke. But to me, despite all the bad times and the arguments, she will always be my baby sister.”
Allison also mentioned being the lives of Mariah’s twins, saying she promises to be a good auntie.

Too bad they can’t mend the fences. You should care about people while they are here not fall over their casket screaming and cryin when they are gone.

Yep! I agree, redbone. Also, we are not to judge whether she has changed or not….that’s between her and Jesus. I pray that she has changed, sometimes it takes years for us to admit our wrongdoings and to ask for forgiveness. I pray that everything goes well with her and her family. I pray deeply for Allision’s child…..and I’m guessing she has made peace with her mom and other family members.

Seems like Allison was quite scandalous in her day, and four months of sobriety is not much time IMO. She probably put that family through the wringer and wouldn’t accept any help to rid her of any addictions or improve her lifestyle. I’d like to know if she now has a relationship with her son.
