*Meagan Good was spotted over the weekend beaming with happiness and glimmering with a brand new shiny engagement ring.
The actress dawned her natural self at the Lakers-Suns playoff game.
She attempted to dodge the paparazzi, but cameras found a moment to spot the ring and snapped a shot of her display of affection.
It wasn’t very long ago that her now fiancée DeVon Franklin, a Seventh Day Adventist preacher, proposed to her.
In an interview with Global Grind, the actress said that because of her relationship with God, she knew that this was the man for her.
“I was crying about so much at the time that God told me exactly what it was going to be and He told me that the next relationship that I got into was going to be ‘the’ relationship,” Meagan recalled. “God told me specifically what the criteria was with the man I was going to marry and He told me to not settle.”
In the past, she would compromise on a few of the qualities she was looking for in a man. But she told herself this time around was going to be different.
“Shortly after that I became celibate. I said, ‘Alright, Lord. Let’s see what you have for me,” Meagan said. “Oddly enough, DeVon and I had known each other for six years and [Jumping the Broom] wrapped nine months before we even dated. During a couple of those months before, it started getting in my spirit that he was going to be my husband and he didn’t even know.”
