*Montel Williams appeared on the Dr. Mehmet Oz show recently and opened wide about his emotional past.
He admitted dealing with an emotional eating disorder after going through a double mastectomy at the age of 19.
Unfortunately it was the wrong procedure. His torn pectoralis muscle was misdiagnosed as male breast cancer.

As a result, he suffered through clinical depression and used eating as his way out.
“People have heard me talk about this on air,” he says, referring to previous discussion he’s had in the media about his mastectomy and bouts with clinical depression. “It’s been recently diagnosed as emotional liability, which means that I can’t control my ups and downs … and when I feel that way, and I’m at home, I sneak food,” Williams said.
In 1999, Williams was then diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a degenerative autoimmune disease that again thwart him into extreme mood swings and even now he deals with emotional eating.
Hmm, er, cynics would say Montel’s eating issues are caused by the munchies he gets from smoking all that medical marijuana. 
I’m really not a big fan of Montel but the poor guy has truly been through the ringer with his health issues.
