But before the the official season starts in September, OWN has a sneak preview this Saturday, June 2 at 10pm Eastern/Pacific
In the episode titled “Fix My Broken Family,” secrets are revealed and truths are uncovered as Vanzant hits the road to help heal a family emergency. She will lay the foundation for healing a family in crisis as she leads three generations of a family through the first steps towards stopping the pain and starting to heal.

Another mess. Her delivery and message isn’t for your average person. I wish her the best.
B*tch you’re just mad because you’re ‘never’ included.
I actually Like Iyanla and I am so glad she is back on tv…even if it’s on Oprah Network. She does speak to the “average” person, shes just a …Tell It Like It Is, No Time For BS and No Time For tiptoeing Around, and it is LONG overdo. I like her style. We need a Strong African Force with no white washed agendas in the midst….I also hopes she does well…even tho I think she may be too “Strong, too Black, too Educated and too Independent” for a Mamie like Oprah…..I see Black shows are saving her network, even tho it still seems like another “White” station.
Well, I guess Ms Vanzant and Oprah have kissed and made up on while they were not speaking. I do not particularly like her brand of help/advice but I may watch the show a few times to see how it turns out. OWN still has it’s work cut out in order to gain a healthy and steady viewership.
One of the last shows Oprah did had Ms. Vanzant as a guest. They talked at length about what caused the rift between them. It was all a big misunderstanding, the same was true of her so-called fued with Whoopi Goldberg. Vanzants insecurity caused her to not understand that Oprah had literally given her show over to Vanzant for an hour. Oprah said, “I went and sat in the audience and turned the show over to you, why would you think I didn’t like you.” (or words to that effect) To which Vanzant replied “I wasn’t ablel to receive it, I wasn’t able to receive it.” She then broke down and wept like a baby. Oprah forgave her and they hugged and cried together.
With Whoopi, it was a matter of “somebody said she was mad at you.” being said to both parties. So for 20 years both thought the other was mad at the other, so neither talked to the other one. The lesson to be learned here is, if you think someone is upset with you and you have no clue why, contact that person and have a face-to-face sit down and clear the air.
Now as for her show….Oprah doesn’t get it. People liked to view something like this for one hour a day, but not 24 hours a day. She needs to add some variety to her network.
Last of the Frozen Chosin and one of the Chosin Few
I like her and I think people connect with her because she herself is a work in progress. She is much better than Dr. Phil.
I liked the show! I wish she would fix my life. It would probably be a three day show because my family has a lot of issues.
