*In a surprising turn of events, “Basketball Wives” critic Star Jones and scrappy “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada have fast become friends.
The two put their differences aside and established a respectable relationship thanks to journalist Jawn Murray.
Jones tweeted, “Just goes to show you. Your initial response is not always the RIGHT RESPONSE. #GROWTHisPROGRESS @EvelynLozada @jawnmurray @vibemagazine”
referring to her new friend’s comments in the latest issue of Vibe.

Not too long ago, the reality star huffed at Jones’ attempt to shut the show down via a petition.
“I think she’s going to have to get a whole lot of names. Actually, I like the petition and I like the controversy because I’ve learned controversy is good. But I think she’s irrelevant. And she’s using our coattails to get relevant again. Nobody gives a f*ck about her.”
But since that interview, she’s matured a bit and apologized to Jones publicly.

Jones tweeted back, “You know you’re lucky you apologized @EvelynLozada for @vibemagazine b/c you were about to get a “EVELYN” type cuss out! NOT…just kidding.
Strange…very strange. Evelyn is tryin to clean up her act since her and that chad’s show is about to not even make it on the air.
Star Jones is a has been and that’s it. The producers probably offered her a spot on the show to keep her mouth shut.
Star Jones is a real jokey joke. She once fell in love with a sweet sissy a** acting man, then married and divorced him when the heat was on. She knew what pretty boy was all about, like lil Richard, but she married him because no other man seem interested on walking her down the isle.
I remember the good old days when we briefly loved Star— during the time Barbara Walters was getting her eliminated from The View.

sfloyd, I was about to chime in on the same thing. Evilyn is a poisonous snake and her latest facade will crumble any minute now. Star…don’t turn your back on that POS…she’s filthy and lowdown as they come! That petition was highly effective and we must keep it going!
Evelyn and Star are friends now???? well will wonders never cease and just how long will this Kumbaya moment last??? LOL!!!
And the crazy thing is Evelyn and Jen are friends with Al…Star’s exhusband. Like I said…strange…very strange.
