Video: Bobby Brown Performs ‘Don’t Let Me Die’ on ‘Leno’

*Bobby Brown has debuted his new song “Don’t Let Me Die,” about life since the death of his ex-wife Whitney Houston.

In the song, the former New Edition singer says, “Didn’t realize that every breath I took was from you … You were my air.” He also sings, “I guess I messed up pretty bad … I didn’t know who you were … I didn’t know what we had. Now I’m stuck living in the past … trying to get the pieces back … but I guess now you’re gone.”

The singer is releasing the track on his forthcoming album “The Masterpiece,” due in June, just four months after Whitney died in Beverly Hills.

Sporting sunglasses and leather pants, Bobby performed the song Wednesday (May 16) on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Watch below.

    Who cares. Go away.

It didn’t sound bad to me.

The album version, if it has the right production, should sound really good. Can’t wait to see what they do for the video.

I’m rooting for Bobby. I know he didn’t introduce Whitney to drugs and I don’t hold the way she chose to live her life against him. She told the world that she was doing drugs before she met him, her friends from Newark went on TV after her death and told the world that they were drugging back in the day back in Newark and now it’s time for ignorant fools to let it go and move on. Bobby has never done anything to anyone but, himself.

I’ll pray for and look toward a bright future for him. His sins are not so great that they can’t be forgiven.
