*Amid reports that 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown was battling with her mother’s manager and sister-in-law, Pat Houston, to accept the Millennium Award (on behalf of Whitney), a compromise has been met, according to RadarOnline.com.
Both Bobbi K and Pat are scheduled to take the stage together, buit Bobbi Kristina will actually accept the award.
What undoubtedly will be an emotional tribute, will be Bobbi Kristina’s first appearance at an event since her mother died in February.
There had been rumors that Bobbi Kristina would be singing tonight but it appears she will just accept the honor.

Apparently Pat Houston, sister-in-law to late singer Whitney Houston, has turned on Bobbi Kristina because she desperately wants to accept Whitney’s Billboard Music Award on her behalf but Bobbi K is standing in her way.
Sources close to the situation tell TMZ … Pat is trying to force herself into the spotlight by accepting Whitney’s Millenium Award at the ceremony in Las Vegas tonight … and producers of the show are pissed.
We’re told the show really wants BK to accept the award and make the speech on the late singer’s behalf … but Pat won’t stand for it and is making life hell for them as she tries to worm her way into the segment.
Sources tell us … the show’s producers feel BK is the best choice to represent Whitney’s legacy and they’re convinced Pat is simply exploiting the situation to get publicity for her upcoming reality show.
The Billboard Awards air tonight on ABC at 8pm Eastern

I have always felt that her story was incomplete. Not Pat, enjoy what you have via Whitney and be family. Somebody remind her that her management was support not ranking…let Cissy rest for her elevated service to our creator…

Pat is suspect if you ask me. She and her husband were probably Whitney’s greatest enablers. As for accepting this award, it should be accepted by Bobbi Kristina period. Pat is not blood she needs to go sit her ass down somewhere because the Whitney Houston gravy train is over!
I just caught the tail end of it on television. Pat looked hostile and poor Krissy looked like a hot mess. I hope she finds a stylist and gets a SERIOUS makeover.

Indeed, Pat’s behavior is looking more and more suspect to me. Was it really necessary for her to be on stage with BK last night? She had her opportunity to say everything she wanted to say with the Oprah interview. I would have expected her brother to accompany BK on the stage and not his wife.
I am glad her DAUGHTER got the chance to accept the award for her not someone only related by marriage she may have been a great help to Whitney when she was alive however she needs to let her daughter accept the award. Pat please sit down!
