*Whitney Houston’s mother is set to perform a tribute to her late daughter alongside other female singers at the upcoming BET Awards, reports The Associated Press.

A source familiar with BET’s plans said Tuesday that Cissy Houston will take the stage at the July 1 awards show to honor her daughter. She’ll be joined by “a few top divas,” the source said, though the source would not reveal their identities.
The source spoke on condition of anonymity because the tribute has not been officially announced.
The BET Awards airs live from The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Kanye West, Beyonce and Jay-Z are the top nominees.

This has really taken a tole on this woman! She doesn’t look well or “hereof”!! (understandably!!) they should keep a watch on her and We should ALL pray for her health and state of mind!! SMH!

She don’t look well at all. You can see the toll Whitney’s death has taken
on her. I think she’s moving to fast.Reality show etc but maybe that’s her
way of dealing with her grief ? I sincerely feel sorry for her and she is in
my prayers..I can’t imagine losing a child.(Lord be with her)!!!
I am glad to know Cissy will be on stage to help honor her daughter, I know hse is coping the best she can and with God’s help she will get thru the pain, now as for the tribute BET PLEASE!! invite the female singers who have good voives and can do the tribute justice under no circumstance do we need the mediocre chicks who are on the charts now to even attempt to sing a Whitney song. that means Ciara, Rihanna, Ashanti, Cassie, Teaira Mari, Elle Varner and a few others just sit down and watch how the real singers do it.
I agree. CoCo from SWV would do a wonderful job. Her range is incredible but I know she aint that popular. Aint too many people that could do it justice. I am curious to see who they will get.
