*Shut the front door, megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar’s been arrested!
According to reports, Dollar was taken into custody on Friday by authorities after who say he slightly hurt his 15-year-old daughter in a fight at his metro Atlanta home.
According to Fayette County Sheriff’s Office investigator Brent Rowan, deputies responded to a call of domestic violence at the home around 1am Friday.

Apparently Dollar, 50, and his daughter were arguing over whether she could go to a party when the pastor “got physical” with her, leaving her with “superficial injuries,” says Rowan
The report also says Dollar choked his daughter, then threw her to the ground, punched her and hit her with his shoe. The responding officer noticed a scratch on the daughter’s neck near her throat; the daughter said her father gave her the scratch during the fight.
When police interviewed Dollar, he said he tried to restrain his daughter when she “became very disrespectful” after he told her she couldn’t go to the party, according to the report. Dollar admitted to spanking his daughter and wrestling her to the floor, but said it was because she hit him.
Dollar faces misdemeanor charges of simple battery and cruelty to children. He bonded out of Fayette County jail Friday morning. The AP says a phone number listed for him didn’t connect.
Dollar is the pastor for World Changers Church International in College Park.

He should be commended for being such a good parent. At 15 there should be no argument. No means no! Case closed. You open your mouth to argue and you get a backhand lick across your face. I’m a black woman who was raised by 2 parents (whom lived in the home). What he did is called Parenting. He did not hurt her. He merely needed her to fear him. Fear of your Parents when you are young is a healthy thing. It prevents you from doing stupid things or becoming a follower. It helps you to become an independent thinker and learn how to rationalize and make responsible decisions. How do I know because at 14 I was slapped by my father. By now folks should know that police reports are nothing more than a justification for an arrest. It’s not necessarily an accurate description of what happened. Just look back at Skip Gates and that lying racist cop where everything in the police report was made up. We also just had the case of Deion Sanders where the police colluded with him to get his wife arrested even though he was the one inflicting multiple injuries leading to bones being broken.
You got to cast some suspicion on the witness statement in this case. Why did she change her statement? He claims that her first written statement was different from what she had told him. Then she ended up writing a second, more incriminating statement. Was this done under duress? Like he threatening of charging her for making false statements?
That cop was hell bent on arresting what he perceived as an “uppity N.” And he was going to use threats and coercion if he had to.
I think Mr. Dollar’s lawyer may want to look at it from this angle.
