*Holly Robinson Peete is thanking fans for their support after her mother was involved in a car accident on Sunday.

The actress’ mom Dolores Robinson was driving to watch her grandson play baseball when she was caught up in a five car collision.
Peete sent out a tweet expressing gratitude that her mom had walked away from the crash with only minor injuries, and later thanked fans for flooding her social networking page with well wishes.
She tweeted: “Momentofgratitude On the way to my son’s bbl (baseball) game today my mom was involved in a 5 car pile up… driver who initiated it fled the scene… Mom walked away just a bit sore Thank God. Every other person was taken to the hospital… You never know what life brings you moment to moment. Be grateful. I am.
“Thank you for your sweet notes about my mom – she is fine. Thinking about all the others tonight and wishing them all speedy recovery.”

I wonder what was the cause of the accident. Those medical bills will be up the roof!
