*Janet Jackson is stepping out on a limb and has signed up to produce a documentary about the lives of transgender people around the world.
Entitled “Truth,” the film includes on-camera interviews and follows the life and struggles of transgender people.
Jackson’s goal is to help bring awareness and stop discrimination.
“Truth” will be directed by Robert Jason, who previously directed a documentary for The Style Network on four transgender New Yorkers.
He says “Truth” will feature stories from throughout North America, Europe, Australia and Latin America.
