*A day after news of the reported Chris Brown-Drake brawl broke, many conflicting reports about the incident still linger.

According to CBS, some witnesses report hearing shots during the dust-up, but no one reported seeing a gun. As previously reported, police are now investigating.
Brown, his girlfriend and his bodyguard Big Pat, pictured below, were injured during the brawl with members of rapper Drake’s entourage early Thursday morning at a New York nightclub, police said.
According to TMZ, Big Pat was injured by a bottle thrown by Chris Brown’s own entourage. Multiple witnesses say he was standing in front of Brown when the bottles started flying, and someone in Brown’s own camp fired a bottle intended for Drake’s party, but missed. Instead, the bottle connected with Big Pat’s face at extremely close range. Pat ended up suffering the worst injuries of anyone in the club. He received emergency medical treatment for the wound, but he appeared fine the next day.
Brown tweeted a photo of himself with a bloody gash on his chin, then later removed it, as well as other messages about the fight, including taunts. His rep later released a statement saying the singer and his girlfriend, model Karrueche Tran, were victims of a “brutal attack.”
A rep for Drake said the star was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. “He did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property,” according to the statement.
Sources told Entertainment Weekly that Drake wasn’t involved in the fight, but that Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill was. But law enforcement sources told TMZ that Brown’s lawyer gave police “physical evidence,” which reportedly shows Drake was involved.
According to the Associated Press, witnesses told police that two men approached Brown’s table and asked him whether he had a problem with Drake, and he replied he did not. Later, as Brown was leaving the club, five men blocked his way on the dance floor and started taking off their shirts and yelling, police said.
Five bystanders, four women and a man, also suffered cuts during the fight at the club W.i.P. in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, police said. Australian tourist Hollie C., 24, (pictured above) was one of the injured and has since made a video lamenting her whole ordeal. Brown’s bodyguard suffered a cut to the head, but all the victims were released from the hospital later Thursday.
Police were looking for surveillance footage and talking to patrons who witnessed the melee. No arrests have been made and no complaints filed, and no one has identified any one person as an assailant, police said.
“Chris and his party are cooperating with NY authorities who are pursuing this incident further,” Brown’s representatives said in a statement.
Neither star was on scene when police arrived around 4 a.m. Thursday. It’s not clear what prompted the fight. Both Brown and Drake at one time dated singer Rihanna.
According to the New York Post, a witness said Brown sent Drake a nasty note about Rihanna. But that has been disputed by Brown’s management Phase Too, which tweeted: “There was no bottle sent to @drake and there was no note! Stop the lies, TMZ/MTO!!!! There were no punches thrown, just glass.”
As previously reported, Brown spoke with police Thursday. Drake, who was scheduled to perform at Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center Thursday night in upstate New York, said he was unable to and would do so at a more convenient time with his attorney.
Brown famously had a violent relationship with Rihanna and is still on supervised probation for attacking her on the eve of the 2009 Grammy awards, leaving her with a split lip, a black eye and other injuries.
They are on good terms now; both performed at this year’s Grammy awards and also recently debuted two songs featuring each other. Brown sings and raps on the remix of Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake,” and she appears on a new version of his song “Turn up the Music.”
Rihanna dated Drake very briefly after Brown, and has said they didn’t last long in part because she was “too fragile” from the split.
She also recently collaborated with Drake on his hit “Take Care” and appeared in his video.

I was beginning to get suspicious of Drake. Whenever people are trying so hard to profess their innocence, it’s usually indicative of some type of guilt. They must be trying to hide som’n and use this Meek Mill person as the fall guy. Kinda reminds you of Shine and Puffy.
Now these type of things happen in the club all the time, but y’all know why this story is blowing up and not about to go away anytime soon.
Hint, hint… Take a look at the photo posted here which is becoming a recurring theme in these updates.
Pretty sure it will soon be all over Fox, if it is not already.
Tha fuck? How does this remind of you Shyne and Puff. Shyne SHOT A CHICK IN THE FACE. Chris and Drake DID NOT fight at all. What am I missing here? Please help me out.
Also, how is anyone “trying so hard to profess their innocence”? You’re all over the place here. Their reps are saying this in their behalf. It’s their job.
Dude, it’s not what you are missing, it’s what you are so gullible to fall for. If you really think that Drake was not involved in anything that went down, but just happens to be walking just before all hell broke loose behind his back, then I got some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you .
Come on dawg, they already said that a guy from Drake’s crew was in a heated argument with Chris. And you are admitting that you are so naive to believe that in the midst of all that, Drake was so totally unconcerned that he just happens to be walking out at the same time.
Wow!
“Chris and Drake DID NOT fight at all.”
And what if they didn’t? This does not mean that Drake was not guilty of doing something. How do you know he was not involved in throwing bottles or speaking words to escalate the situation?
Oh, because his rep says so.
“Their reps are saying this in their behalf.”
So what’s your point?
Don’t tell me that you are so clueless that you don’t know that what the reps says is what they were either instructed by the artist to say, or given permission to say. Everything they say has to be vetted by the artist.
PS Since you don’t know what happened to Shyne, Shyne was represented by the same lawyer who represented Puffy. This lawyer made sure that none of the responsibility for what went down that night was placed on Puffy, despite the gun being carried in his vehicle and he was the one involved in the fight that led to the whole thing. They were able to exploit Shyne because they knew he would adhere to the code of silence. Puffy was therefore not held accountable for anything, at the expense of Shyne. Of course Shyne should share the major responsibility, but they made sure that he shared all to ensure that Puffy shared none.
Everybody who followed that case knew how Shyne and his mom were pissed at Puffy for letting him get such a stiff sentence. It’s called being a fall guy. The same thing that it seems this Meek Mill person is being made out to be. But I guess you don’t know anything about that.
On another note I don’t see why the media is blowing this the hell up as a Chris vs Drake fight. The two didn’t fight. Their entourages did.
The media is not necessarily blowing this up as a Drake Chris fight. Them crackas would care less who was fighting. What they care about is who certain victims were and the chance to give Hip Hop a black eye.
Take a closer look at the victims. All the victims. This is still Amerikkka.
” The two didn’t fight. Their entourages did.”
So by your assessment, Drake and Chris were both off by themselves minding their own business while their entourage got into it. And Chris must have been an innocent bystander who got injured like the Australian chick.
And why are the police interested in talking with both of them? The rep already said he was walking out the door, although Chris peeps gave police “physical evidence,” which reportedly shows Drake was involved.
Hmmmm…. Maybe the police are interested in talking with both of them, because like the rest of us, they don’t know what the fuck happened, and they are not dumb enough to believe what the reps from either side is saying.
