*The emotional Rodney King 911 call by his fiancee Cynthia Kelley has been released.
When asked to identify who she’s calling about, Cynthia Kelley tells the operator, “He’s Rodney King. The guy that got beat by the police.”

When the operator asks if Kelley can go in and get King’s body, Kelley replies she can’t swim. Kelley says she tried to rescue King with objects surrounding the pool — including a shovel — but he wasn’t moving.
Damn…that’s sad.
How the hell you gonna have a pool in your backyard and your sorry ass can’t even swim?
There had to be something she could do other than balling on the phone with that man at the bottom of the pool becoming less alive with every second.
Like what?? If she can’t swim, what else could she have done? That is why I just insisted that my girfriend take swimming lessons along with her twin girls. We ALL should know how to swim…you never know when you may have to save a life.
For one, she could go knock on a neighbor’s door while waiting for EMS.
I don’t consider myself a swimmer, but everyone knows how to hold your breath while under water. If I had a loved one in a situation like that, I would have to dive under and try to move them, then float back to the surface. It’s not that difficult, even for a non swimmer. I did it before.
This is a sad and tragic end to Mr King’s life but i think something is a bit suspect hre because his neighbors reported that they heard him crying out loud and then there was a splash like he fell in the or was maybe was pushed and we know the rest of the story.
