*It’s not like it hasn’t happened to other media outlets including … well … us, too
Early Saturday morning TMZ posted a story about the mother of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra parks, whose name is Regina Bell. That’s where things went south on them ’cause the woman in the photo they originally used (above) is definitely not Parks’ mother. It’s R&B turned gospel singer Regina Belle.
The story, in case you’re wondering, deals with Ma Bell filing a $6 million defamation lawsuit against Vibe Holdings its online book, “Lies of a Real Housewife: Tell the Truth and Shame the Devil” … in which the author accuses Bell of “witch-doctory” and concocting potions to abort children.
In any event, before they had a chance to fix their photo faux pas, the site’s readers took the opportunity to clown the crap out of them, just like y’all would do and do us when we make an innocent boo-boo:
This woman is most certainly not Phaedra’s mother. If you were at all a fan of the show you would know this. This may be her name, but is certainly not her likeliness.
The picture above to the right is Regina Belle former R&B singer now Gospel singer, not Pastor Regina Bell Phaedra’s mother. In fact the singer I don’t think is that much older than Phaedra so she won’t be to happy with your story calling her Phaedra’s mother. And this is a stupid story anyway.
Uh, TMZ, might want to fix that pic before you end up with a lawsuit against you because that is not Phadra Park’s mother. The pic posted is of the R&B turned gospel sensation Regina Bell. Phaedra’s mother is much larger!
FYI- that is singer Regina Bell, and she is not and I repeat not Phadera Parks mother. TMZ check your facts, before we seek legal counsel.
A few hours later TMZ had the right photo (below) in place and we assume it won’t have to report that’s it’s being sued. 
The lesson here is that we want you to know that we work our arses off to be accurate, but in spite of that stuff happens.
In other words, TMZ we feel your pain. Just glad it’s not us.

HAHAHA! I just started hearing this rumor lately that THEE Regina Bell (the singer) was supposedly Phaedra’s “mother” lol. Which I did not believe because their ages are very close, and Regina would have had to have her when she was5 years old or something LOL!
