*Every time you turn around little Willow Smith is doing something “out there” that’s shocking to everyone but her and her parents it seems.
The latest attention getting move from the eccentric 11-year-old daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith has a lot of folks wondering if she spiraling out of control and just as importantly, what’s up with Mom and Dad for letting her do it?
By now there’s no way you could’ve missed the Instagram picture Willow posted of herself and a friend showing off what looked to be real piercings. In the photo, Willow has her mouth open and a silver ball on her tongue, while her friend sports a silver chin stud.
Needless to say, Willow’s fans and folks in general lost it after seeing the photo.
Well guess what? All that freaking out over Willow was for nothing because according to an email to EUR from Monique DeBarge, the mother of the other girl in the photo, it’s not what it appears to be.
“Those are not actual piercings, they are magnets, I know this because the other female in the photo is my daughter.”
And to back up what Monique DeBarge says, Miss Willow herself admitted the “piercing” was just a hoax:
“It’s fake… Sorry,” she added to the Instagram photo.
Uh oh, now we have an even bigger problem: an 11-year-old who knows she has the power to freak out the whole world!

Regardless whether it is real or not it looks stupid and gross. Why all of this need for so much attention??? Willow??? doing crazy things makes people starting talking and speculating about you and your parents and not in a good way, here is a novel idea jsut act like a normal 11 yr old young lady you will have plenty of time to act like an adult and make adult decisions when you actually become one.
Agreed 100% babycakes. Real or fake. Try to doing something more real and go to school like your older brother Trey did and get an education and quit doing outlandish shit. Jada and Will need to get it together and so does that lady that wrote that column, shows she’s in the wacky parents department too.

As much as I DIDN’T want to see another picture of Willow Smith, she has proven herself a savvy media analyst.
As far as why is she screaming for attention? Maybe it’s because she’s exactly what we know her to be…A FUCKING CHILD. Get over it, folks, she’s the daughter of the youngest power MARRIED celebrity couple in the world right now. It already takes a certain type to be a celebrity, so why would we think celebrity genes folded in on each other would be any different?
I THINK y’all BOUT to be mad cause you got played by an 11-year-old. Well played, young Miss Willow Smith.
And like Kirsten Savali so eloquently stated in her ill-titled article ‘Willow Smith’s Tongue Ring is Not Our Business’:
“Willow prompted the same outcry when she chopped her hair off — presumably, the move was initially to support an ill friend who was forced to shave her head — and people said that Will and Jada were “bad” parents. Willow watchers created all kinds of scenarios that starred Willow dancing her way to destruction, all because she was allowed to cut her hair.

“Then, when she changed the color of her close crop from blonde to purple to green, critics passed out to the point where smelling salts were almost needed to revive them.
“Personally, I find it amazing that in a culture which overwhelmingly supported Pastor Creflo Dollar for allegedly tackling his daughter to the ground, choking her and hitting her with a shoe, many people consider Will and Jada, two people who clearly love their daughter, bad parents.”
She put it out there, so she made it our business. But the reaction was over-the-top and embarrassing.
HHCassius your FIRST POST was the got damned truth! LOL!
Agree with HHCassius on post except for one thing. Nothing Willow or any other celebrity, co-worker, or tooth fairy writes, posts, tweets, or do affects what we do; what we say; how we act; or who we like. This means, they ain’t responsible for us and we ain’t responsible for them. This also means ……….it is none of our business. To make something your business, it means you deliberatley getting involved in the situation. Commenting on an ‘Entertainment” website is not the same thing.
Now, understand….we all have the ability to comment on what they put out there. Anybody can and do, comment. Whether based on fact or fiction, hearsay or gossip, but that is another topic. But lets stop getting it twisted…….if anyone came up to any of you or talked crap about you – talking craziness about something you did or didn’t do – and they have no involvement, don’t know you from Adam and Eve and was getting all up in ya face – I know for sure each and every one of you are going to go off with a quickness. Why? Because fool should have known it what you do was none of their business and therefore deserves a beatdown.
Just like ya’ll deserve to be laughed at for getting up in arms over the shenanigans of a very smart and savvy 11 year old GIRL. The fact its a girl should have given you pause. ROTFL.
Willow was born into wealth. Lives a very different lifestyle than most 11 year olds do, particular of the black community. She’s nice and has a funny has a sense of humor like her father. As you know rich people tend to allow and handle things in ways that ordinary people may, or may not agree or do, and vice versa. Times have changed for the good & bad. Be mindful and know that either way is not someone else’s business. Do to your upbringing and surroundings you preconceive what you think a child of that age should be or act which is okay, but that has nothing to do with Willow. She strives to be creative and different as she has learned the media’s is never too far from her and her family. If you don’t think she should have tongue rings, then that might be a concern for you to oversee in your own household with your 11 year old in lieu of Willow.
