 The winning choirs of Verizon’s How Sweet the Sound™ regional shows will now have an opportunity to represent their respective cities, compete for a chance to share more than $200,000 in cash prizes, advance to the grand finale in New York City on November 4th and compete for the ultimate title of “The Best Gospel Choir in America.”

Donald Lawrence and Yolanda Adams will serve as hosts for this year’s Verizon’s How Sweet the Sound competition. CeCe Winans , Erica Campbell of Mary Mary, Fred Hammond, Hezekiah Walker and VaShawn Mitchell will serve as judges and perform on stage, alongside Lawrence and Adams at the regional shows.
