*This summer’s Essence Music Festival is going to be a blast, especially with recently announced added performances.
On Sunday July 8, divas Chaka Khan and Aretha Franklin will blow audiences away with a powerful 60-minute set.
Together Khan, Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson and KeKe Wyatt will perform a special tribute to R&B artists who passed away over the last year.

Also just added, Iyanla Vanzant. Other performances include Mary J. Blige, D’Angelo, Trey Songz, Mary Mary, Fantasia, Ledisi and more.
Also, Steve Harvey will also take the stage on Sunday for a special tribute to the Queen of Soul.
