*After the tragic death of singing diva, Donna Summer, there’s a classic battle royal over the huge fortune she left behind.

Two of her three daughters, Mimi, 39 and Brooklyn, 31, are now throwing blows to see who is going to win most of the $75 million fortune, according to the National Enquirer.

The ladies have different fathers, which may explain the ordeal a bit. Donna and her husband Bruce Sudano are the parents to Brooklyn and Amanda, 28, while German actor Helmut Sommer, who is Donna’s ex husband, is the father of Mimi.

A source says that the family began fighting very close to the singer’s passing.

“Donna was barely gone before Mimi and Brooklyn began battling over how much money they should get,” said an insider.

“Mimi thinks she should get the most because she is first born, but Brooklyn made it clear that she and her sister Amanda should get more. “Poor Bruce is still very upset over Donna’s passing, and the last thing he needs to deal with is the daughters fighting over the money – especially since Donna left it all to him, and he is being generous by agreeing to share it. “Amanda is sweet and is sympathetic to Bruce. She keeps telling her sisters to stop being so greedy and give him space to grieve before making him go through all the finances.”

Donna died on May 17 at the age of 63 after losing a 10-month battle against lung cancer.

The fact that Donna Summer wrote her daughters out of the will is significant….If the husband and attorney hasn”t reviewed the will yet, then the daughters need to hold on to their panties, because in the end, Sister #3 can have the stronger influence as to who should get what…if anything at all.

hi, you can choose to believe me or not,
but, I happen to be a member of the family,
(we’re rather close-knit and private, so of course I will not identify myself)
but there’s been alot of gossip-mongering surrounding this, and It should be known that there really has been no fighting at all amongst the family. It bugged me enough that articles like this exist because its rather slanderous (I understand peoples desire to gossip, but stuff like this is hurtful to our fam). Brooklyn, Amanda, and Mimi love each other like any good sisters would, and there has been no “Battle Royal” as this article would have you believe. it’s actually kind of ridiculous to take the time to defend them. but again, I just happened upon the article and was bugged enough about it to post.

and anyways….you (not YOU specifically) really shouldn’t waste your time on sites like this because they tend to be entirely made up. I mean…if you believe this crap is real, you probably also think Pro-Wrestling is real….and if that’s true….I have some news for you about Santa.
anyways, God Bless and hope the internet takes you somewhere better.

What a shame the father should not give them a dime since they want to act a fool. They need to be handled.

  3. If Donna left everything to the 2nd husband, the older daughter from the first marriage probably feels that she will be left out because if the 2nd husband dies, everything may go to the younger daughers. Actually I hope it isn’t the case that she left everything to the husband. While I definitely the husband should receive maybe half of the money, it would have been wise to leave any future earning to the daughers. The reason I say this is because if the husband gets everything and then remarrys, the new wife could end up with the bulk of the estate. this is how people with no connection to a person end up with control of a vast estate. I believe this is what happened to the Marilyn Monroe estate.

DOne, you are correct. After watching a few eps of that show on OWN, stuff like this can cause many a problem. And tear families apart.
