*Since Kim Kardashian and Beynoncé got buddied up, sources say Solange Knowles is not having it.
Yeah she may be the little sister, but Solange says her superstar sibling is way too big to be friends with people who have nothing to show for, except some played out sex tapes.
“In Solange’s eyes, Beyoncé is a stand-out star, a premiere singer of our time, whereas Kim is just a reality star who only got famous after a sex tape was leaked,” a source told The National Enquirer.
The source added that the sister even fought over the friendship.

Uh that may be true, but if I was Solange I’d shut the hell up because to be truthful she’s in the same category as Kim K. She’s CDs that have gone wood and when she goes to the awards, who is she with? Beyonce. She never goes with somebody else and she doesn’t have a superstar husband like Jay as a matter of fact Beyonce is probably the ONLY reason she gets a ticket to the awards.

I agree, but Bey already knows about KK and only became friendly towards her recently due to the collaboration between Jay-Z and KW. The sisters have probably discussed KK many times in the past and know she’s bad news.
Solange is all the loser ANYBODY needs. Good thing she’s related b/c, NO ONE is interested . . .KK can pick up a dirty tissue and it’s news, SK, does b/c her son dropped it. I am in no way a fan of either parties. With the exception of being a single mother, the only other difference ‘twix’d the two is: one gets PAID for being useless
I do not believe Solange gave an interview to the Enquirer of all tabs!! we alll know the Knowles clan are very closed mouth when it comes to family, friends etc, Solange is hardly ever interviewed anyway.

Solange has established herself as NOT being her sister..which is a good thing.
They don’t have the same style, style of music, and she’s much less conservative than her sister.
I think she’s done well separating herself from B and creating an identity of her own.
Although the content of the story itself is true (she’s way too big to be hanging w/Kim) she likely didn’t say it to the National Enquirer.

Solange has been very protective of her sister’s well being in the past with the statements she has made about her career, pregnancy and marriage to Jay Z but I don’t believe she would have went to the NE to make that statement but I wouldn’t doubt that they have had a conversation behind close doors. Solange has made a good pact for herself and has her own thing going on. Of course she would be overshadowed but she isn’t like Ray J either. I think Beyonce is only playing the cards lightly with Kim on behalf of JAy Z and Kanye’s business ordeal. I don’t think they are buddy buddy like that. She knows Kim is cut throat.

There’s nothin’ wrong with protecting family, but do it quietly and privately if she did talk to anyone an about her separating herself from not being just B’s sister, there’s nothin’ wrong with that either, but don’t go pouncing on somebody else when you are basically in the same category. Solange distances herself with her own identity, but at the same time it seems like she wants to be on the same successful level as B and she does it by talking too much and attending awards with her. If she really wanted to distance herself, she would do everything solo and next talk SO LOW nobody can hear her. Oh and don’t be apart of anything Destiny’s Child like what Matthew was always trying to include her in, she was never a member.
