*Janet Jackson could be moving on soon, to a new label that is.
Word is the singer may have just signed with Universal and could be working on a new album.
In the meantime, she’s truly making her mark in areas other than music. Also known for her struggle with weight and constant body changes, Jackson released a book about her struggle with weight that turned out to be a best seller.
“True You” was not only a way for her to share her story, but to also connect with fans on a different level.
“I would literally bang my head up against the wall because I didn’t feel attractive. There was a lot of pain in my life. But I did. I felt very unattractive,” Jackson admitted. “There was this picture of my sister, Rebbie. And I would always look at her picture and I thought, ‘Oh Gosh, she’s so beautiful. If I could only look like that when I get older. God, how gorgeous is she?’ And I never ever felt attractive. And I still have issues with it. I don’t bang my head up against the wall, but I still have those moments. And I think it’ll probably continue but at least I know how to deal with it now. And I’m in a much better space.”

Give it a rest, Janet.
you are beautiful, God made You.
Childhood is usually the place where a lot of insecurities are formed. The fact that Janet speaks on it quite a bit, keeps the communication line open for others. I’ve loved Janet for as long as I can remember. The only time I ever got annoyed with her was during that whole “nipple-gate” display. Outside of that one, I’ve always been a fan. ~GD
