*Janet Jackson is said to be “furious” that her niece Paris, the daughter of her late brother Michael, has a role in the upcoming film, “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys.”

Us Weekly is reporting that Jackson “feels it goes against Michael’s wishes to keep his kids out of the limelight until age 18,” according to a source who spoke with the magazine.
As previously reported, the 14-year-old was cast in December, with Janet expressing concern even then.
“We’ve spoken about the fact that you’re only a child once,” Janet told Prevention magazine in May. “I think there’s a time for everything, and now is not the time [to act in films]. I told her I thought she should enjoy being a kid, possibly go to college—or not—but wait till she turns 18. She’s a very tough, smart girl. But it’s a cutthroat industry. I wouldn’t want my child to do it.”
Although Michael’s children, Paris, Prince, and Blanket, lived completely removed from the public eye while their father was alive — he even made them wear masks and veils when out in public — they were thrust into the spotlight when Michael died in 2009.
Still, Paris has always dreamed of emulating her father.
“When I was really little, my dad was in the movie ‘Moonwalker’ and I knew he could sing really well, but I didn’t know he could act,” Paris Jackson told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview last December. “I saw that and I said, ‘Wow, I want to be just like him.’”
This raises the question of who is raising this girl. It sure as hell isn’t Katherine Jackson.
Janet’s about as ignorant as the rest of the family, MAYBE go to college? Where was this caring aunt when this child was auditioning for parts? certainly she had to know, ’cause the Jackson name got her in any door she knocked on . . . . . . .Personally, and I hope I don’t offend but , I think Kate is too old and feeble (in the head) to raise up in bed, much less children. This pack of jackals make me sick, You know joe is in this deep and stinking.
You’re not offending, it’s the truth! An 82-year-old woman canNOT raise a teenager. This heiffer is getting fresh on Twitter with the older Jacksons. She needs a strong woman to point her in the right direction AND she needs to start studying for those SATs SO SHE CAN ENTER COLLEGE!!!
I agree 100% with Janet. The industry would take advantage of her and use her in so many different ways. I hope that she goes to college and get a career that has nothing to do with the entertainment world. I think Michael would want that.

I agree with the posters paris should be thinking about school and college instead of acting. I am betting Michael would not be pleased with hr decision ot act as a mmater of fact he would not be happy that his children are so exposed and paps have access to them at every turn.
I agree with Janet, she knows what’s she’s talking about. This is just my personal opinion but I don’t think children should be in show business, adults have a hard time copping with all the demands, rejections and pressure that goes along with it, why would anyone put their children through it?
I am surprise at Katherine though, she’s going completely against what Michael wanted for his children, I could be wrong but Paris seems a little bratty at times. I agree with the others, go to college there’s no regret in doing that. I love how Bill Cosby and Denzel Washington manage to keep their children out of the business, today they are all or going to be college graduates. …This is just my humble opinion.
I’m not saying she doesn’t care but, she needs to stop paying lip-service, take the bull by the horns and set that kid right. Is it as obvious to y’all as it is to me, that she has not say-so in this child’s life? She needs to be raised by Debbie, her mother.
THANK YOU!!!! That is EXACTLY what I have been thinking ever since she turned into a teenager. My 19-year-old daughter and I are very close. I have often wondered whether Paris has such a relationship with Debbie. She KNOWS Debbie is her mother.
It’s just a matter of time before these kids break and bolt on the Jackson family. Doubt if they have any real affinity for the Jacksons and can see them making their way back to Debbie before long. They won’t need MJ’s family once they are of age…and could turn on them in the worst way. But this is how MJ ‘designed’ it all.

nightshift, she may not put much emphasis on education knowing the huge fortune they will one day control. With Michael gone and Debbie in the background those kids probably feel foot loose and fancy free and just biding their time since they can’t live on their own legally. There’s only so much the family can do as far as discipline and all.
I totally co-sign, ESPECIALLY after the smart-assed tweeting she sent Randy’s way. I was horrified when I read about THAT. Randy is a GROWN man, and this girl apparently feels she can talk to him any way she wants and even embarrass him publicly. I doubt Michael would approve.
