*Magic Johnson and his wife, Cookie know what love and struggle is all about.
The celebrity couple has endured life’s pressures and the confusion of a famous lifestyle for 20 years.
The couple was caught spending time together on a romantic vacation in Italy. The two posed for a photo while taking a stroll through the city of Portofino on Monday. The basketball legend and entrepreneur posted a photo on his public Facebook page Monday morning.
“Cookie and I having a wonderful time in Portofino together,” he wrote.
The couple wasn’t hard to spot with Magic towering over his wife. As they walked, fans stopped to say hello.
Together, the Johnsons have been through a lot and have amassed a legacy. Before marrying in September 1991, they dated on and off for 12 years. Two months after tying the knot, he announced his first of three retirements after contracting HIV.
But 20 years later, the couple is still going strong.
When they get back to the states, he has a full plate of work waiting for him, including the recent launch of his television network, Aspire.
It’s nice to hear they’re “lovin’ it up,” because nobody would touch either one of them with a 10-foot pole.

In this day and age to see two very successful black people in the spotlight that give to various causes and still remain relevant in this day and age, plus, they have been married for over twenty plus years! I got nothing but love for Magic and his wife, Cookie! They have hired thousands of black people with their business ventures and do wonderful things in the community. I am not clowning you Grace – but when was the last time you hired anyone – gave money away or been in a committed relationship over 20 minutes (yes, I said 20 minutes). Hate, in fact, actually is one of the things responsible for slowing down on research to bring the spread of A.I.D.S. under control.
