obama & romney*Wondering what President Obama’s plans are for the 4th of July are? Well,  he’ll be celebrating the nation’s 236th birthday today at the White House.

After returning from Camp David, he will deliver remarks at a naturalization ceremony for active-duty service members in the East Room.

In the evening, the president and the first lady will host a Fourth of July celebration with a barbecue, a concert and a view of fireworks on the South Lawn. Their guests will be military heroes and their families.

On Thursday, Obama will begin a two-day campaign bus tour in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Meanwhile, his presumptive Republican rival, Mitt Romney, is vacationing with his family in Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, according to this report from MSNBC’s Martin Bashir:
