Tim Duncan accepts half of his normal pay in order to keep the best team possible for the San Antonio Spurs.
*One of the most important things learned in playing sports is teamwork.
The team is one unit with no individuals. But, of course, we’ve seen that idea threatened in professional sports because of all of the money and fame.
But a very good example of the original lesson of teamwork has been brought back to the NBA in one extraordinary gesture.
Tim Duncan has been playing for the San Antonio Spurs sincde 1997. Some believe that this may be his last season with the team.
Duncan has became the third highest paid player in the NBA behind Kobe Bryant last season. (more…)
