The latest development is a beyond biased documentary based on conservative author Dinesh D’Souza’s book, “The Roots of Obama’s Rage,” (didn’t know being black meant being angry).
“2016: Obama’s America,” grossed $1.2 million last weekend after its debut in about 60 movie theaters across the nation. Even typically liberal New York City brought in some strong support for the No. 12 political documentary.
This Friday, “2016: Obama’s America” will be playing in more than 1,000 theaters, as the Republican National Convention gets closer.

“I think the reason why the film is doing so well is threefold — we’ve expanded into good markets, we’ve been advertising nationally for two weeks on talk radio and television news channels including Fox News Channel, A&E, the History Channel and MSNBC,” filmmaker John Sullivan told The Hollywood Reporter.

How do you know that 2016 Obama’s America is “beyond biased?” Do you have any proof? If so why didn’t you site it or your sources? Without proof “beyond biased” is nothing more than an opinion and in my opinion poor journalism. Please clean up your act.
First, it was his birth certificate, then it was he’s a Muslim extremist, and now this…another scare tactic used to scare folks. No matter what he does as POTUS, the first thing most white people see is the color of his skin. Why doesn’t this same guy make a movie about how GWB duped the American people into believing the war in Iraq and Afghanistan was necessary but yet Bin Laden was found in another country. My take is this, if people are that pissed off because we have a black president who aside from the color of his skin can relate and does what he can for the middle class and poor feel Romney can do the job, then vote his ass in…but he has no clue what poor or struggling is about so therefore, one or two things will happen, it will be back to the plantation or standing in soup lines just to get a loaf of bread..
I saw the movie last week and it was factual and to the point. Unlike Fahrenheit 911 it was not preachy and left it up to the viewer to accept his facts.
Based on the title and the preview, I would really like to see the rest of this movie.

How is Obama’s “rage” influenced by Kenya? Is there some kind of genetic marker that was passed on from his father influencing this supposed “rage.”
And as for slavery, black people will stop get worked up about it when we get our fucking reparation for four hundred years of raping our women, breaking up our families, whipping the skin off our backs and dust to dawn with no wages.
Like in any “movie trailer”?, you can slant/represent that movie ANY way you want, & be kinda….”truthful”. The prollum eeah?, when they “leave out” whyyyyyy “that” truth is what it is! You know, like…..it is a truthful statement to say that Obie hasn’t delivered on a lot of what he promised he would. BUT!!?, the “reason whyyyyyy”??, is largely/mostly due to an in uncooperative congress, who valued “getting their way” over what was best for the people!, &, were he’ll bend on stifling ANY progress Obie would’ve/could’ve made! If you think these devils are upset now, wait and see how the tubobs react when President Obama is re-elected and the first order of business will be to have that house painted red, black and green. A cease and desist executive order will be issued to all municipalities relating to celebrations on the 4th of July. That holiday will be replaced by Juneteenth. All sporting events will begin with the playing of “Lift Every Voice & Sing” which will replace “The Star Spangled Banner” as the national anthem. All tubobs will be required to show proof they were born in the USA and didn’t sneak across the Canadian border.
This movie is NOT an “anti- Obama ” movie. Unless, of course, the facts are “anti-Obama”. This reviewer clearly needs lessons in journalistic integrity… or get work at MSNBC….

But you see Melody, this is the thing. The people watching the movie are not hearing the other side, mainly that all what D’Souza is saying are either false or makes no sense whatsoever.
And this is why you have to give it to the right. In any game, you got to know your opponent’s strengths and weaknesses. And the Repubs knows that the Dems are a not into propaganda or even defending themselves from it. That’s why unless something really bad happens to hinder their chances, the Republicans will always win elections. I need to remind folks that despite leading in the polls for most of the campaign, Obama eventually conceded that lead to McCain after a sustained and unanswered attack ad campaign from McCain and his surrogates. If it wasn’t for the collapse of the market, Obama would have his tail handed to him. I don’t know what they are waiting for, because all the polls are showing that the Repubs negative ad campaign is also working this time around.
So why is Obama sitting back allowing himself to be Swift Boated like Kerry? Is he too pompous to launch his own attack ads? Can’t he at least respond to the lies? And are all the Democratic activist groups like MoveOn.org so uninterested in this election?
