*Diana Ross says she’s willing to take over guardianship of Michael Jackson’s children if it should ever come to that.

The Motown legend was named as a back-up guardian for Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket in their late father’s will and although they are now under the shared custody of their grandmother Katherine and cousin TJ Jackson, she has made it clear she is willingly on standby.
A family member who was present during Diana’s recent visit to see the kids told the New York Post: ”For the first time, Ross said she was willing to step in ‘if needed’. She had never spoken like that before.
”Whether she wanted to be listed as guardian or not, she’s not going to abdicate any authority.”
After the recent drama of Katherine losing and then regaining guardianship, Diana wanted to make sure the children were fine and travelled to see them in person at the family home in Calabasas, Calif.
”[After Michael's death in 2009, Diana would phone the kids to see] if they needed advice or anything else,” said the source. “But last week, she wanted to meet with the children in person to make sure she heard all the right things. Things you can’t easily detect on the telephone, like body language.”
Diana, 68, also made Paris, 14, promise to call her if she or her brothers ever need her help.
According to the source, Diana left the warring Jackson family with the message ”mess with Michael’s kids, and you’re messing with her.”
Diana was also anxious to ensure Katherine, 82, is coping with her responsibilities and many of the Jackson family members would welcome her taking over.
The insider added: ”It wasn’t just Michael who loved her – we all do. His kids like her a lot. Who wouldn’t? She’s Miss Ross!”

I thought I read where Diana signed off on being the kids guardian now tht TJ is in the picture, who knows waht to believe from all of htese so called sources, this siituation is still messy IMO!
If Ms. Ross is smart she’ll continue counseling them from a distance. They will have all her business in the media if she ever crosses them. MJ has already twisted their heads and it’s only a few short years before the older ones can get out on their own as they’re layinig the groundwork to do.
@Melody, u are so right. These kids are so ready to depart from the Jackson clan. MJ created a hot mess and unfortunately this is only the beginning. I personally cringe whenever they claim themselves as his kids but its not their fault that they were part of Mike’s psychopathic planning of a family. He was a great entertainer but his mind was not normal and of course full of self hatred.

Nah Reds, you are not the only one. I loved Mike as an entertainer, but he gave not a f*ck about being black. He wanted a white fantasy family. I do not blame the lil test tube kids. I blame Mike. Whether you or I like it or not, THEY ARE Michael’s children. It was all handle legally whether we like it or not. Would we say this to other adopted or surrogated children? I would like to think, we would not be that cruel. He was the only father they know/knew. Parenting is a function of “love” not just “blood”. I was raised by my dearly beloved Godparents. And I am forever grateful for that……blood or no blood.

It’s interesting that the very ones who lined up to bring Michael down are now salivating over these non-Black kids hauling down all his money. Madonna, Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise, and Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt are a few examples of whites who have adopted Black children but have their own biological ones. Do any of you believe those Black kids will be regarded equally as the ‘blood’ ones when it comes to dividing the wealth of these stars. Deceased billionaire Ted Forstmann never married or had children of his own but did adopt two Black boys from S. Africa. There have been a number of articles detailing the astronomical amount he left a 2 year old girl despite knowing another man actually fathered the girl. I believe he left a very neglible amount to those adopted boys (now adults) because it would have been all over the media had he bequeathed anything near the sum for the 2 year old girl he wished he had fathered.
I suppose when these children write their books, they will tell us what their white friends say to them. It must be HORRIBLE.

Leave these kids alone, they did not ask to be born. But as luck has it they were just like you and I. God does not see color, but what is in your heart. So all you people, just remember you will be judged for your judging others. Michael was a good person, he gave more money than any other artist, he went to hospitals, orphanage, and tried to motivate love for one another. Skin is only a color, not what”s in your heart.
