Empire State Building: 2 Killed in Shooting Near Famous Landmark

   

empire state bldg*(Via The Lookout) – A gunman has shot multiple people near the Empire State Building in the Midtown area of Manhattan, according to several news reports.

New York City’s ABC 7 reported that the shooting happened at Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street around 9 a.m. ET, and said that the incident may have been the result of a co-worker dispute. Ten people were hit during the gunfire, the New York Post is reporting.

The Associated Press and others are reporting that police shot and killed the gunman near the tourist entrance of the Empire State Building. Reuters reports that two people have died. The Post said that the fatalities include the gunman and a bystander.

  1. Police officers fired a total of 16 rounds; one officer shot nine while another one shot seven, the New York Police Department said.

    The perp was within feet of the cops. But these white men had so much fear, that they end up shooting so wildly that nine bystanders got shot, while the perp was only shot around three times.
    How can you miss from such a close range?
    Fear.

    So are these officers not trained to take the safety of the public into consideration?
    Yes, but they were overcome with fear.

    Fear of the white man. That is the explanation why so many unarmed black men end up shot forty times by the police. Another thing that’s noteworthy about this video, the man was still alive on the ground after the shooting had subsided. Can you imagine a black man living that long after pulling a gun on the pigs?
