*The Republican Party has responded to an incident Tuesday in which two attendees at the GOP’s Tampa convention threw nuts at a female African-American CNN camera operator and said, “This is how we feed animals.”

The RNC released a statement today which reads: “Two attendees tonight exhibited deplorable behavior. Their conduct was inexcusable and unacceptable. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated.”
As previously reported, the incident was witnessed by several people. It was first tweeted by David Shuster and confirmed by Talking Points Memo (TPM).
RNC security and police removed the two people from the Tampa Bay Times Forum. No word yet on their identities.
CNN later acknowledged the incident “CNN can confirm there was an incident directed at an employee inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum earlier this afternoon. CNN worked with convention officials to address this matter and will have no further comment.”

Why is this being reported from other media outlets and not CNN themselves? It’s not even on their website.
I think because it involves them they don’t want to appear as if the incident will influence their coverage of the convention – that’s just my opinion. It seems they have taken an odd vow of silence on the issue. (lol)
Like someone said on another site:
“The media is currently looking for a rug to sweep this incident under.”
Reds mentioned a recent CNN interview of sorts on Romney and they were completely tilting everything in his favor. Folks are definitely taking notice of CNN downplaying this incident.
Really a sad moment but its not like we didn’t expect this would happen at their convention.
These mofos are getting bold aren’t they? Imagine if Romney wins…..they will be trying to take black people home as slaves. Just trying to grab folks off the streets.
So true!
I am never shocked when white folk act white. Never trust the tubobs, they are devils by nature, their DNA makes them that way.
