The pic of Oprah is very nice, Love the natural hair, O has a nice head of hair anyway.
Oprah’s hair is not natural, she has a relaxer in her hair. It is just not roller set, flat ironed, or hot curled.

Vidal Sassoon, RIP, knew nothing of natural African hair. I have NEVER had or ever will a relaxer, so I have natural hair. If you were born with African hair like I was, you could clearly see she has a relaxer. It is not even a braid out.
Looks nice. Never understood why women with full heads of hair opt for weaves all the time.
Maybe she wants black people to buy her magazine. No?
Big hair is nothing new for MS. O..I happy to see the natural hair comng back into trend for african american women.. because WEAVES.. oh well.. you know..
If you going to wear your hair in a natural state?..just make sure its styled/and cut/trimmed and shaped and not a HOT MESS..
Don’t get too excited. Oprah’s hair isn’t like that 99% of the time. She keep a perm.
she must be trying to lose weight, and to encourage us sistus to forget the sweat and go natural and get healthy . . .eh, not impressed, looks textured . . . sorry, you fail O
Then let’s include some others like roughcutdiamond, who may know about “African” hair but knows almost nothing of natural African American hair. You may not have a relaxer, but just like there are various skin color of black folk, so is the same of hair texture. Oprah looks like it was cornrowed straight back while slightly damp and allowed to air dry….then it was loosened and fluffed.
I do not have a relaxer as well and my hair is very curly (think a very dry Jeri Curl). A co-worker went natural thinking her hair would come out like mine…..it didn’t. But she can get the super cute afro puff and I can’t because my hair refuses to stay stretched. And that is the beauty of our hair! If I straightened my hair every week and kept it in braids for YEARS, like Oprah, my hair would be trained to be less curly and have less shrinkage.

There are plenty of us reviewing products and showing how to get different styles….like Oprah. The Naptural85 channels is my favorite and another is Kimmay, to name a few. It is easy to see other channels just by pulling those two.
So please, quit hating.
