Roy Colbert of Los Angeles claims the rapper/actor/gang-specialist and A&E Networks robbed him of an idea for a new docu-series about ending gang violence in Los Angeles.
Deadline.com reports that in the suit Colbert says, “Banging Peace” was the working title for his idea; which is based on his own experience documenting efforts to stop gang violence starting in 2004.
The mastermind of the idea says the purpose of the documentary or series, whatever he was going for, was to seek out gang leaders in order to create peace among feuding clicks. Colbert maintains that he and A&E were under an implied contract that he would be compensated for any resulting show.
He claims A&E’s “The Peacemaker,” is the same as his original idea, which aired Dec. 16, 2010.
In other news, Ice-T’s sweet thang, Coco, dropped it like it’s hot in the middle of New York City.
While she’s known for her voluptuous assets and elaborate wardrobe, she made the city her backdrop to a recent random photo shoot, where she stopped traffic.
