*TMZ is reporting that Randy Jackson will no longer sit be on the “American Idol” judging panel.

After serving 11 seasons on the show, sources claim that the lone remaining original judge will transition into a mentor role when the series returns in January.

A rep for FOX had no comment on the story.

TMZ is also reporting that the deal for Nicki Minaj to join the judges’ table is “99 percent done, but not a sure thing yet.”

Confirmed judge Mariah Carey, meanwhile, was photographed last month for her first official “American Idol” promotional photo, seen below.
