*The highly anticipated remake of “Sparkle” is due in theaters this coming Friday, August 17.
Unlike the original, in the new version of the film, the men get get quite a bit more screen time.
The three male stars of the new production: Omari Hardwick, Derek Luke and Mike Epps sat down with BlackTreeTv to discuss their roles in the new version.
For some reason the previews of this movie really suck. The original SPARKLE was the movie that can’t be touched and I don’t plan on going to see this…it just doesn’t interest me, at all.
I was thinking hte same thing Stephanie, I am not motivated to see it, the singing is jsut bad the voices do not harmonize well together and the acting is amateurish. I will wait until it comes to Direct TV.
in othr words I do not want to spend MONEY!! at a theater.
I do not plan on seeing it either and will wait until I can rent it.
