*It was a media frenzy of sorts, when Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas arrived at JFK airport.

Rocking a black leather jacket, metallic gold skirt and flip-flops, she had just left from an appearance on the ‘Tonight Show’ with (FLOTUS) Michelle Obama.
Gabby was all smiles, as she was escorted by police and security.

I guess tomorrow it will make national headlines her clothes didn’t match and she probably got the flip flops from Walmart!

The skirt and jacket are cute but the flip flops did not go with the outfit perhaps a pair of flats or sandals would of been better, flip flops was wayy too casual for the outfit. @ Stephanie, I am sure some one will say something nasty about her clothes just wait.
I agree, the flip-flops were too casual, maybe her feet hurt from all that bouncing around.
I love this girl…she simply did the damn thing and it wasn’t her hair, her clothes or her mother’s financial issues, it was her determination to do her best and she did it!!!
Whoever brought up her flip flops must have never flown before. Flip flops are highly recommended for flying. You have to take off damn near all clothes clothes to clear TSA.
FYI, if you look at the other posting on this site of Gabby, there is a video of her on The Tonight Show and she has on beautiful heeled sandals. So, no more criticism aboutthe flipflops – she DID NOT greet the FLOTUS with them on!
