He took to Twitter to voice his regrets, but former wife, Evelyn Lozada, does not appear to be moved … at all.
Less than one month ago, the life of Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson looked real different. But since the alleged head-butting incident, everything went downhill. He lost his wife, his job, his reality television show, and was dumped from the Madden 13 lineup – all in a span of 3 days.
And now, it seems that the reality of his fall from grace has finally hit him. Johnson took to Twitter saying, “That awkward moment when you realize you’re not on Madden 13 [an American Football video game] and have to create yourself…I got to start life over and create a new one.” But the 6ft 1″ wide receiver was not looking for any sympathy.
Chad admits that he was the cause of his own problems, “Don’t feel bad, my black ass messed up, I made the bed, now I gotta lay n it,’ he said.
Chad’s recognition of his mistakes holds little sway with estranged wife, Evelyn Lozada, who told TMZ that she hasn’t spoken a word to the former NFL star since the incident.
As we reported, Evelyn was spotted out in New York City and when asked if she has had any contact with Chad replied, “No.” Evelyn has filed for divorce from her husband of six weeks claiming her marriage to Johnson is ‘irretrievably broken.’
She was scheduled to appear on “Good Morning America” this week, but the interview was postponed due to Robin Roberts’ medical leave for a bone marrow transplant. The official date of the new interview has not yet been released.

Chad we love you and your biggest fans will stand by you. It takes a very humble person to ask for forgiveness. Don’t let Evelyne destroy you.

I respect everyone’s opinion here in regard to Chad Ochocinco Johnson. However, my opinion differs. In no manner do I feel sorry for Chad Ochocinco Johnson. I have no respect and would never praise or worship some knucklehead to begin with. Moreover, something is not quite right with this guy. It shows the needs to grow up and conduct himself as a man. Not a clown or a boy. Chad is famously known in the sports world and media for constantly doing some of the most stupid ass type of shit, til it’s unbelievable. Aside from his mistakes, remarks, and apology, he would have show that he’s making an effort to modify his character and ego in order to fully better himself.
I do not feel sorry for Chad as for Evelyn no woman deserves to be hit etc but as far as personality goes Evelyn is a bully and in that regard I do not feel sorry for her either.
I don’t feel sorry for either of them. She has done violence against women. He is a very immature male with seemingly no morals. They both got what they deserved and they both need to go some where and sit down out of the public spotlight. I guess people just don’t get embarrassed any more.
